A blog, amplifying the voices of Desi Queer Community.
An initiative to help Queer Muslims connect, feel seen and heard.
The Gay Muslim Space is a gentle rebellion.
Created for queer Muslims from rural, underrepresented, and marginalized communities in India, this space is about reclaiming the right to exist fully, in both faith and identity.
Too often, the stories we see come from lives we don’t relate to, urban, elite, distant. But our stories matter too. The quiet ones. The complicated ones. The ones shaped by small towns, tight-knit families, prayers whispered in secret, and questions we were never allowed to ask.
Being queer and Muslim isn’t a contradiction. It’s a reality. One that deserves to be seen, heard, and embraced.
This is our corner of the internet. Our truth. Our space.
Welcome.
